GUMBY 2022 Event Policies

Entry Discounts

AURA members and UMROC members receive a 10% discount on all entry types (discounts are not cumulative).


For those that miss out an entry, a waitlist will be established. The price of your entry will be determined by the date you were added to the waitlist. For example, if you registered in October during the early bird period, but you were not offered an entry until March, you would still pay the early bird price.


If you cannot participate in the event for any reason, entry fee refunds are available in accordance with the below-stated withdrawal dates only. After the stipulated dates, entry fees are non-refundable for withdrawals initiated by the athlete. Requests for refunds must be notified to the organiser via email


Withdrawal Refunds

Where eligible, please allow up to 30 business days for your refund to be processed. The refund is automatically issued to the credit card originally used to pay for the registration. If this card has since been cancelled or has expired it is the athlete’s responsibility to notify us when requesting the eligible refund.

Transfer of entry to different race

Transfers between GUMBY and GUMBaby races can be requested up until such time as that event distance is sold out, subject to the following terms:

Transfer of entry to another runner

Transfers will be available at no additional cost until the close of entries.

COVID-19 Policy

If the event is cancelled due to COVID-19 or some other reason beyond the control of the organisers, entrants will be offered the opportunity to participate in a rescheduled event or transfer entries to the following year.

If the entrant does not wish to participate in a rescheduled event or transfer entries to the following year, we offer a refund in line with the refund policy (if cancelled before 23 Feb) or a credit for future ULTRA Mediocre events (valid for two years from the original event date).
